Movers + Makers is turning TWO on May 31st and I couldn’t be more excited to celebrate the occasion. As a way to highlight the mission of Movers + Makers, which is to explore creative entrepreneurship by creating a space to learn and grow as a creative, I have created a calendar full of creative challenges for the month of May. These daily prompts are meant to encourage and support creative practices and habits. Prompts range from the simple like “Go for a walk” to the more challenging like “Explore a medium that’s not your own” or “Take a break from technology.”

With these prompts, I hope you feel encouraged to try something new or to strengthen the daily practices needed to sustain a creative lifestyle. There’s also an element of interaction that comes along with these challenges. Some require sharing with an audience or reaching out to other creative entrepreneurs. Community is an important value for Movers + Makers, so I can’t wait to see how the creative community supports one another throughout this month.
